There is a small possibility that Edifix will link to an article in PubMed that is not the article cited in the reference you submitted. (Because of differences in how Edifix matches references against the PubMed and Crossref records, this situation is even less likely to occur when linking to Crossref.)
A mismatch like this can happen if the cited article is not in the PubMed database but has several characteristics that match another article that is indexed. If you encounter this type of mismatch, please use the Report Issue button on the Results page for your job to report the problem to the Edifix Support Team. We can then credit your account for the mismatched reference, and you might be helping to improve the matching process still further.
Please note that we cannot give a credit if the submitted reference contained errors that prevented a correct match from being made.
