Occasionally, you might Activate a document and see the following error:

eXtyles cannot complete processing of the document because open and close tags are mismatched

This is often caused by a Word field or eXtyles tag being manipulated or incompletely removed -- especially if the contents of the document had been previously processed by eXtyles.

To resolve this issue, unlink all of the fields in the document:

1. Use Ctrl+A to select the entire document
2. Use Ctrl+Shift+F9 to unlink all selected fields

You should then be able to activate the document and run eXtyles as usual.
